Guiding Families Safely Into Their Dream Homes Is More than A Job; It’s a Passion

Scott grew up in Rochester, NH, the son of a residential home builder. He spent summers on job sites alongside his father, and even at a young age, he wore his very own tool belt with pride. He insisted he be called “Scott Large – Carpenter, Helper, Worker Guy,” and always considered himself to be one of the crew.
After moving to Connecticut in his teens, Scott honed his trade through high school. He then launched his own construction business specializing in roofing, siding, windows, and decks.

In his late twenties, Scott returned to New Hampshire and met his future wife, Maren. While navigating their first home purchase in 2013, an influential home inspector inspired him to shift careers. That same year, after passing the state home inspection exam, he began a new chapter as a certified home inspector.

Over the last decade, Scott has completed more than 4,200 inspections throughout New Hampshire and Maine. He has earned a reputation for being thorough, efficient, and professional, whether inspecting multimillion-dollar estates for high-profile clients or the most neglected structures. Scott approaches every inspection like solving a puzzle, aimed at providing clients with a complete understanding of their future home.
